UPWA Connects People to the Sea By Facilitating Development of Public Docks and Waterfront Activities.

Most of the world's population lives at or near urban shorelines. Population maps generally indicate that humans have an inner desire to be near the water. Active and accessible waterfronts are an amazing place for young and old, rich and poor alike.

Seas, lakes and navigable rivers provide a means of sustenance, transportation, enjoyment, freedom--and perhaps most of all, a source for dreams.

Water connects everyone on earth. Every seaport is but one voyage away on a road that has existed since the beginning of time.

The Urban Public Waterfront Association facilitates the development of public access infrastructure projects and activation programs that attract and enable people to interact with the water. Our efforts help build immeasurable intrinsic value to enhance the attraction of shoreline communities.
